Lake Havasu School Board President Lisa Roman is facing recall threats over a debate about a curriculum changes surrounding the New York Times 1619 Project. Board member Nichole Cohen has been opposed to adopting some of the 1619 Project curriculum (1619 is the year when slaves were first brought to the US).
