Richmond Treasurer Ann Seaver has been kicked out in a recall, losing to Emmily Taylor 232-177. Seaver was in office for 31 years. The recall was over alleged misfiling of some taxes using a new system, leading to small penalties from the state and failure to attend meetings and leaving outside the town (which Seaver claims was due to physical rehab).
Petitioners handed in 305 signatures and needed 249. They got 303.
