Petitions have been taken out against Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren. The recall faces a kitchen sink of complaints, including misusing funds, a revolving door and inaction on workplace harassment and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People initiative.
Petitioners need about 34,000 signatures. The former Executive Director of the Division of Human Resources, who was fired in June, is leading the effort.
