Michigan: Petitions taken out against two Albion City Council members

Albion City Council members Nora Jackson and Linda LaNoue are facing recall efforts. Jackson is over complaints about a nonprofit led by Jackson receiving tax dollars, while LaNoue is over a vote in favor of a former college president Matthew Johnson's vision for the city, while LaNoue was employed by the college. There are separate individuals launching the recalls. Petitioners need 146 signatures for Jackson and 142 for LaNoue
