A third Jackson-Madison County School Board member, Janice Hampton, is facing talk of a recall. , Chairman Kevin Alexander and Doris Black are already facing a recall effort over their opposition to the Superintendent's 10-year plan. Petitioners need to get 66% of their vote total from the last election (1743 for Black).
The recall is taking place just after Governor signed a law allowing recalls in the Madison County Board of Education members.
