Rhode Island: Over 1000 signatures push Narragansett Town Council recall law on 2020 ballot

Over a thousand signatures have been collected to put a recall law on Narragansett ballot in 2020. The City Council also approved the amendment. The impetus was a failure to approve a new library.

The law would require signatures from 25% of turnout in the last election in 60 days in order to get a recall on the ballot.
