Washington, DC: Neighborhood Advisory Commissioner could face recall and reelection vote on the same day

Signatures have been approved in the recall of Washington, DC Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner Amber Gove over complaints about a street being converted to one way traffic and the creation of a bike lane.

Gove is running for reelection in November and could face both a recall and reelection on the same day. Her opponent in the general election, Alexandra Kelly, is one of the leaders of the recall effort.
Petitioners handed in 206 valid signatures and needed 193.
