School Board President Greg Talberg and members Sarah Belander, Nancy Deal and Christopher Lewis are facing petitions over their vote for a policy that requires schools to accept the gender identity assertion of each student. Petitioners are claiming that the issue is that the policy doesn't guarantee informing parents.
Petitioners need 1425 valid signatures by August 3 to get on the November ballot.
