California: Signatures validated in Alvord School Board Member recall

School Board Member Joseph Barragan lost his primary day recall., 438-222. Barragan faced the recall over claims that he insulted undocumented immigrants and other groups on a Facebook posts, though Barragan claims that it was from a phony account or created via Photoshop type program. Barragan argues that the teachers' union was attacking him.

He will be replaced by Lizeth Vega.
