Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer is facing petitions over claims that of using her position for personal gain. Petitioners need 5767 signatures to get on the ballot.
Interestingly, Weld County Commissioner board has hired former Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler as the legal counsel in the matter.
