Washington: Judge tosses out petitions against three Olympia councilmembers

A judge threw out the recall effort against Mayor Cheryl Selby, Mayor Pro Tem Nathaniel Jones and Councilmember Jessica Bateman over claims that the city undercharges itself on stormwater rates while overcharging everyone else. Because Washington is a malfeasance standard/judicial recall state, the judge was called on to decide if there was a valid showing of cause.
