California: Signatures near in Orange County School Board members recall effort

Petitioners are claiming that they are nearing enough signatures to get a recall of Orange Unified School Board Members Madison Klovstad Miner (who helped flip majority control of the board) and Rick Ledesma over the firing of the school superintendent with no explanation. The school board members are part of a conservative 4-3 majority and the firing was over complaints about policies to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and critical race theory.
