Signatures are set to be handed in against Elton Mayor Kesia Skinner-Lemoine, with petitioners claiming they have over 300 signatures and need 275 (40%) by August 13.
The recall is after an investigation by the Secretary of State of voter fraud in last November's election. The claim is that out-of-jurisdiction voters made the difference in the election.
