Alabama: Dothan Commissioner under voter fraud cloud hears talk of recall

Dothan Commissioner Amos Newsome is facing calls for his resignation by three other commissioners after three of his campaign workers were convicted of voter fraud (absentee ballot division). Newsome has not been charged. He won his seat by 14 votes, and received 119 of 124 absentee ballot votes.

Petitioners would need 3% of qualified voters signatures to get a recall on the ballot.
