Arizona: Sunnyside recall attempts make the ballot

The recall attempts against Sunnyside Unified School District Governing Board President Louie Gonzales and board member Bobby Garcia is going to the ballot. Petitioners handed in 2100 signatures, and got 1455 and 1417. They needed 1345 for each. The issue was the board members' support for the local superintendent, who is facing charges of questions credit card uses, unpaid taxes, a license suspension and bankruptcy filing.
