Nevada: Petitioners handed in 567 signatures in recall effort against Las Vegas City Councilwoman

Petitioners have submitted 567 signatures against Las Vegas Councilwoman Michele Fiore (R), which is the amount collected in the first 45 days of petitioning (the recall effort has 90 days to collect the signatures). Petitioners need 1911 to get on the ballot. 

The recall was launched over racially charged comments Fiore made at a Republican Convention as well as her backing of converting an historic hay barn into an events center at Floyd Lamb State Park.
