A second attempted recall against Door County Supervisor Roy Englebert has been submitted. The first petitions were rejected due to eorrs and invalud signatures. A recall against Door County Supervisors John Neinas is not occurring, as he is not running in the spring election.
The recall is over a plan to draw down the Forestville Dam Mill Pond to dry out contaminated sediment from the pond. Opponents claim it will hurt the fish stock. Petitioners claim they have 218 signatures.
