California: Santa Clara Judge starting campaign to keep seat in possible recall

There are a number of rules around Judge Aaron Persky's recall, including that he must start every court session disclosing the names of attorneys hwo contributed to his campaign and taping it to a courtroom podium. He's named his campaign "Retain Judge Persky -- No Recall." He's raised $3600 from 12 attorneys -- as opposed to the $100,000 raised by his opponents.

The article also notes that there were three attempted recalls of judges this summer in California (Theodore Zayner, Peter Kirwan and Peter Socrates Manoukian), though none went anywhere.
