North Carolina: Moore SCounty Board of Commissioners pass resolution supporting recall process for Board of Ed members

The vote was 4-1. The board rejected the issue two weeks ago, but the second version mandates that the cost of the recall be published in a local paper, which the board estimates at $70,000. The Chairman claims the old point that re-elections are the equivalent of a recall.

The fight is over the June firing of the Superintendent in a 5-3 vote. Half the board resigned and he was reinstated.
