Nevada: National Republican Group gave $160,000 to Senator Farley recall effort

The Republican State Leadership Committee has donated $160,000 for failed recall attempt of state Senator Patricia Farley (I). The petitioners reported that they got less than a third of the 7107 signatures needed to get on the ballot, which would work out to be more than $60 a signature. However, the Farley recall committee donated $25,000 to the recall of Senator Nicole Cannizzaro (D) and nearly $28,000 to the recall of Senator Joyce Woodhouse (D). Both of those recalls are now in the signature verifying stages.

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee donated a $1 million to defend against the recalls.
