Massachusetts: Sherborn votes down recall law

A petition to put in place a political recall law was defeated, though there is no word on the vote total (it was opposed by Selectmen beforehand). A second vote, on a malfeasance standard recall requiring a violation of state ethics code, felony conviction or missing more than 1/3rd of meetings was beaten 81-28. However, there was discussion on revisiting recalls in the future.
