Alaska: Attempt to recall entire Holy Cross City Council blocked by City Council

I'm unsure of what the end result is here, but we certainly can chalk it up to the ever-growing "refusing to schedule your own recall" list. Holy Cross' council refused to schedule a recall for its members. The members had delayed an election for their seats since October. 

So the group tried to get the recall on the ballot (unclear if they handed in valid petitions), but the city council reject the recall. They then held an election, which resulted in the city council members winning reelection by a wide margin. The losers were four recall proponents.
