Louisiana: Charges thrown out against recall petitioner in Lafayette City Marshall

The lead petitioner in the recall effort against Marshall Brian Pope had charges dismissed. The petitioner was arrested by the City Marshall's office right after the recall failed on 20-year old charges of bouncing $200 in checks.

Pope is still facing a felony trial this year.
