Mayor Eileen Tesch is facing petitions after a FOIA request showed that the mayor called the sheriff's deputies, allegedly to have a signature gatherers removed petitioners seeking the recall of two councilmembers, Irene Bird and Joe Nugent. Both Bird and Nugent resigned before the November recall vote.
Petitioners need about 350 signatures.
