Michigan: Split decision in Gaines Township

Gaines Township Supervisor Chuck Melki (D) lost by 229 votes to Paul Fortino, though Township Supervisor Michael Dowler and Clerk Deb Hyrman survived. Fortino lost his seat to Melki in 2012.
