Arizona: A look at the state's adoption and use of the recall against judges

Excellent short piece in the Arizona Daily Star here. Note that the state adopted the recall against judges by a vote of 16,272 to 3,491.
Also, according to the book "Understanding the Arizona Constitution," by Toni McClory, only one Superior Court Judge has removed by a recall (in 1925), no appellate judge has been recalled (though whether that means ousted or got on the ballot is unclear), and it seems one Justice of the Peace was kicked out in 1942).
