Colorado: Steamboat Springs Councilmembers recall effort abandoned

"Limited financial resources" is causing the abandonment of the recall efforts against Steamboat Springs Councilmembers Heather Sloop, Joella West and Dakotah McGinlay. The recall was tied to a 9% tax on short term rentals (there is a repeal referendum against the law as well). Petitioners needed about 1000 signatures each (10% of turnout) to get on the ballot.
