Texas: Killeen Councilwoman loses court case over
Councilwoman Debbie Nash-King was ordered to pay $5800 in court costs and attorney 's fees and a $1500 sanction after her lawsuit seeking a temporary restraining order and injunction to stop a petition filed by three people, including Mellisa Brown (who is running against Nash-King in the election on May 4). Brown tried to get a recall against Nash-King, but did not get the signatures.
