North Dakota: Arnegard Mayor survives recall vote in recall rerun

Mayor Virginia Elliot survived her recall vote against former Mayor Jeff Kindel, 63-47. Elliot, who has been on the council for more than 20 years and was previously mayor, beat Elliot in June 35-31. The recall claimed that Elliot committed nepotism by hiring her son's construction company. There is also a claim that she is facing an investigation into mail fraud.
