Michigan: Bedford Charter Township Supervisor kicked out in recall vote

Township Supervisor Adam Heikkila (R) lost his recall vote on election day to Rande Johnson (D) 35-33%, with an independent candidate Kraig Dingman getting 32%. Dingman, who was the lead petitioner, has since been appointed a trustee.

The issues were allegedly failing to maintain business hours, pushing to have an ordinance violation dismissed against him, and claims of creating a hostile environment.
