Oregon: Coronavirus hampers Senate Republican recall effort

The recall effort against Senator Chuck Thomsen (R) has taken a predictable hit due to the coronavirus social distancing laws. Thomsen is one of the Republicans who have walked out on the legislature to prevent climate change legislation. Petitioners would need 9025 signatures to get on the ballot. Petitioners claim to have 2800 signatures and need to hand in by June 2.
