Milford's recall law required signatures from 20% of registered voters and had an added absentee veto requirement that 25% turnout (as well as a majority vote against the official) for the recall to take effect. The new law lowers the signature requirement to 10% and the absentee veto requirement to 15% of voters needing to cast ballots.
