Nevada: Signatures handed in for North Las Vegas Municipal Judge recall

Petitioners have handed in over 2700 signatures in the recall of North Las Vegas Municipal Judge Catherine Ramsey over wasting money and hostile environment (and other issues -- the first link is to an editorial calling for her removal). Petitioners need 1984 signatures, and due to Nevada's seemingly stringent signature requirements, there is a good chance that petitioners don't have enough signatures. If they do have the signatures, this could be the first recall of a judge in the country in a long time -- possibly since 1982.
