Wisconsin -- Center of the GOP universe?

Good article from the Daily Beast explaining some of the stakes for the GOP in the recall, and (maybe) one more reason why they've put up such a strong fight on Walker's behalf.  As the article by John Avlon notes, Wisconsin has become a major GOP incubator, producing Walker, giant-killer (of Russ Feingold) Senator Ron Johnson, the RNC Chair and other RNC leadership figures, and arguably the leading member of Congress for the party, Paul Ryan.
