Washington: Recall of Pierce County Assessor misses ballot by less than 2%
Following-up on the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer Dale Washam recall, despite handing in over 65,000 signatures, the recall failed by 1,108. The recall apparently would have been the largest in Washington State's history. The story behind the recall and the Pierce County Assessor fights seems intriguing.
