Petitions have been taken out against Hoxie Mayor Dennis Coggins. Not sure how many signatures are needed, but the town has about 2600 people total.
Hoxie and the mayor recently lost a lawsuit due to their failure to comply with FOIA laws. The mayor is also facing a lawsuit over claims that he sexually harassed a tenant.
