Colorado: Louisville Councilmember recall makes the ballot

Enough signatures have been filed against Louisville Councilwoman Maxine Most to get the recall on the ballot. Petitioners handed in about 600 signatures and needed 440 (no word on the rejection rate, but the validation took place in a day). It looks like October 3 will be the special election date. The election is estimated to cost between $30-40,000.

Most is accused of a lack of empathy for fire victims, including allegedly mocking fire survivors and calling on owners to build smaller houses if they can't afford larger ones.
