Florida: Deltona City Commissioner facing recall effort

Deltona City Commissioner Loren King is facing a recall effort over his former membership in the Oath Keepers, one of the groups who led the failed January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. King has said that he hasn't been a member since 2017. Petitioners need at least 1034 signatures in 30 days to get on the ballot for the first stage and then 1551 more signatures in 60 days.
