California: Shasta County Supervisor recall hits snag over lack of petitioner signatures in ad

The Shasta County recall effort has run into its first problem, as petitioners failed to sign the ad taken out in the newspaper. Supervisors Leonard Moty, Mary Rickert and Joe Chimenti are facing threats over their support for restrictions to fight the Covid pandemic. The cost is between $200,000 and $400,000.
