Petitions language filed against Grosse Pointe School Board President Magaret Weertz and Trustee Chris Lee has been rejected on clarity grounds. The complaint focused on contract votes to reconfigure schools and renew the superintendent's contract. According to the board members, the vote took place after the district shrunk in size. Petitioners need 7646 signatures to get on the ballot. They would need it by the end of the July to get on the November ballot.
