The recall for Howey-in-the-Hills Councilman Matthew McGill is set for April 14, with today being the last day for a mail ballot. The vote has not been postponed, and the Lake County Supervisor of Election Alan Hays notes that only the Governor can do that.
From previous coverage, McGill and others are threatening to sue the town for a $1M each, with complaints of ethical violations. McGill has complained about the police chief's enforcement policies.
