California: Two ousted from Browns Elementary School Board of Trustees

Board Members Carrie Peterson (117-11) and Travis Barker (117-109) both lost a recall vote, with 42% turnout. Krysta Wanner and Corey Bridge won the replacement races.

The issue appeared to be insulting teacher during contract negotations, threatening to fire the teacher's association's lead negotator and creating a high-paid dual position which they allegedly filled with a "known colleague."
