Michigan: Algonac Mayor Recall on the Election Day ballot

Mayor Eileen Tesch is facing an Election Day recall after petitioners handed in 391 valid signatures. They needed 350. The issue appears to be a move to have signatures gatherers against two other councilmembers removed from a meeting. Those two councilmembers, Irene Bird and Joe Nugent, resigned before a November vote.
