Louisiana: Rapides School Board member facing petitions

Rapides Parish School Board member Julie McConathy, who voted not to renew the Louisiana superintendent's contract, is facing a recall petition. Supposedly, McConathy is moving out of town and residents feel she should not be a part of the superintendent decision. Petitioners need 4,057 signatures in 180 days.
