Wisconsin: State Senator Wanggaard mailing out postcards to check on signatures

Interesting approach here, with earlier claims that the petition contained numerous forged signatures. Note that they are only sending out 5,000 postcards (according to the story at least), while the recall petitioners handed in 24,000 signatures, and need slightly more than 15,000. Sounds like a relatively inexpensive ad/media stunt, with has already garnered good coverage.
