Nevada: Victory in recall strengthens Las Vegas City Councilman

We've discussed this phenomena before -- a successful defense of a recall could strengthen a politician.

Councilman Steve Ross raised $106,440 for the special election, which only barely attracted an opponent, and won with 70% of the vote. Notably, the recall proponents received more than $120,000 in donations from its prime backer. Now, there is discussion that he is significantly strengthened for his re-election run.
