The State Rep. Paul Scott recall has been
temporarily enjoined. His winning argument seems to be that the recall organizers started collecting signatures too early in the process. Ballots have already been sent out. If it is postpone (to February), it would be a great benefit to Scott -- the recall would take place on the
same day as the presidential primary.
Despite the fact that the state has
plenty of experience with the recall, there seems to be a serious legal issues with getting recalls (At least on the state level) off the ground.
